First Lady Michelle Obama & Beyonce Unite Against Child Hood Obesity
Beyonce has joined First Lady Michelle Obama and the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation in the fight against childhood obesity. Miss ‘I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly’ has re-pinned and put an energective spin to one of her songs (let’s hope not Single Ladies, I mean it’s for the kids both male and female!) for the “Let’s Move! Flash Workout” campaign.
“I am excited to be part of this effort that addresses a public health crisis,” Beyonce said in a statement. “First Lady Michelle Obama deserves credit for tackling this issue directly, and I applaud the NAB Education Foundation for trying to make a positive difference in the lives of our schoolchildren.”
The “bootylicious” singer will also record a video demonstrating a dancercise routine that will be provided to participating middle schools.
