Kim Kardashian’s MET Gala Dress Looks REALLY Familiar
Kim Kardashian attended last night’s Met Gala in New York City and from the moment she hit the red carpet and stroke an eerily similar pose everyone screamed Beyonce, from her ponytail down to her trail.
Wearing Peter Dundas’ first gown for Roberto Cavalli a revealing beaded floor-length dress with a feathered train she reminded us of the fierceness of Kanye West’s muse….the Queen Bey. It was a deja vu image of Blue Ivy’s mother in her backless Givenchy gown at 2012 Met Gala.
Knowing how ruthless the Bey-gency is they might attack us for saying this, but the similarities ended at who wore it best. Call her fame hungry, a copy cat whatever you might but last night you could not say that the dress did not look nice on her.
Beyonce’s spanx or whatever it was she had to wear under her sheer gown to keep things snatched was just not right, however, she redeemed herself last night.
And as fierce as Bey is, Kim K wanted everyone to be clear that she was inspired by another pop-culture diva, posting a picture of Cher in a sheer Bob Mackie gown from 1974 as she attended the first ever Met Gala.
“I just met her and told her [she was] was my inspiration for my dress tonight! She is so beautiful! So happy I met her! We spoke about our amazing Armenian journeys.”
Take it for what you will but I’m sure her overall objective was to have her name on everyone’s lips.
