LeToya Luckett Premieres New Song, Continuation of Visual Series
LeToya Luckett is keeping us on the ropes with the second release in her visual mini-series, which features latest single “Used To”.
“‘Used To’ is one of my favorite records because of its confident “in-your-face” lyrics,” says the singer-actress of the sultry song. “There’s nothing more attractive than a woman who’s humble, but knows what she can bring to the table.” Part one’s visual includes her song “Back 2 Life.”
We are definitely here for the on-screen chemistry between Luckett and her co-star Thomas Q. Jones, who finds himself wanting that old thang back. Where as LaToya is testing new waters and undeniably inticed by her old flame when they run into each other in public and later on at a gathering.
“I wanted the video to possess that same quality [as the single],” Luckett continues. “It shows the “bounce back” from the disappointment of a relationship gone wrong, but it also showcases the vulnerability of a woman who allowed herself to love.”
The singer’s long-awaited album Back 2 Life is now available for iTunes pre-order, album features 13 songs with a drop date of May 12.
