A truck fireplace broke out on the Mitchell Freeway at Girilambone, north of Nyngan and 610km north-west of Sydney, about 12.50am on Saturday.
NSW cops attended and located a highway practice nicely alight, and NSW Fireplace and Rescue firefighters labored to extinguish the blaze.
