Wednesday evening’s recreation between the Colorado Rockies and host Kansas Metropolis Royals was postponed as a consequence of rain.
The competition was delayed greater than two hours and quarter-hour earlier than it was known as. The Royals mentioned it was postponed “out of an abundance of warning.”
The sport will probably be made up Thursday as a part of a doubleheader. The primary recreation is slated to start out at 1:10 p.m. CT.
Left-hander Cole Ragans (1-1, 3.58 ERA) will begin Sport 1 for Kansas Metropolis. Proper-hander Michael Lorenzen (1-3, 4.57) is slated to start out the second recreation. Lorenzen was Wednesday’s scheduled starter.
Colorado right-hander Chase Dollander (1-2, 7.36) is slated to start out the primary recreation, whereas the starter for the second recreation is undetermined. Proper-hander German Marquez (0-3, 8.27) was the scheduled Wednesday starter.
Kansas Metropolis gained the opener of the three-game sequence, 4-3 in 11 innings on Tuesday. The loss was Colorado’s eleventh straight on the street.
