The Milwaukee Brewers acquired Nick Mears from the Colorado Rockies on Saturday in alternate for fellow right-handers Bradley Blalock and Yujanyer Herrera.
Mears, 27, went 1-4 with a 5.56 ERA in 41 aid appearances for Colorado this season. He’s in his fifth main league season, popping out of the bullpen in 93 video games for the Pittsburgh Pirates (2020-22) and Rockies (2023-24).
