Demise Stranding’s sequel continues to look completely bonkers. The upcoming sport — referred to as Demise Stranding 2: On the Seashore — received a recent trailer and a long-awaited launch date of June twenty sixth throughout a presentation at SXSW.

The PlayStation 5 unique will value $69.99 and is obtainable for pre-order beginning on March seventeenth. Those that purchase the Digital Deluxe Version ($79.99) or Collector’s Version ($229.99) get early entry beginning on June twenty fourth.

Hideo Kojima offered the 10-minute trailer, which opens on two characters — one is Neil, who’s performed by Italian actor Luca Marinelli — arguing with one another. Following that, there’s loads of Sam (Norman Reedus) navigating the wastes together with his BB and his cargo, dealing with unhealthy climate, an avalanche, and the sequence’ signature horrific monsters. The sport has plenty of star energy, with the trailer highlighting characters like Fragile (Léa Seydoux), Tarman (George Miller), Higgs (Troy Baker), Tomorrow (Elle Fanning), Dollamn (Fatih Akin), Wet (Shioli Kutsuna), The President (Alastair Duncan), Lucy (Alissa Jung), Heartman (Nicholas Winding Refn), and Physician (Debra Wilson).

Close to the tip, the trailer exhibits Neil donning a bandana that, as IGN notes, could be very paying homage to Strong Snake, the lead character of Kojima’s famed Metallic Gear Strong sequence. The shot is creepy, with fast flashes displaying his face intermittently changed with a cranium.

Kojima additionally introduced “The Strands of Concord World Tour,” a Demise Stranding live performance tour that can go to 19 cities and have the music of Demise Stranding, carried out by a dwell orchestra and singers. That begins on November eighth, 2025, in Sydney, Australia.
