Spanish police seized virtually 3,000 litres of pretend olive oil which might have been bought for €20,500 (£17,313) from Huelva, newly-released video exhibits.
Guardia Civil officers shared footage of the operation from February, exhibiting officers unpacking bins containing containers of the liquid.
Authorities stated they intercepted a car from Portugal that was transporting giant portions of oils, supposedly from olive oil, and adhesive labels to re-label the containers with no appropriate documentation to hint its origin of manufacturing.
The oil was discovered to be lampante oil, sunflower oil, and unclassified oil, which didn’t match the traits described on the seized labels.
Six individuals are underneath investigation, police stated.
