UK comic Russell Model has been charged with rape, indecent assault and sexual assault between 1999 and 2005.
The costs relate to 4 separate girls.
BBC reviews he has been interviewed a number of occasions by police since an investigation by the Sunday Instances, the Instances and Channel 4’s Dispatches in September 2023 revealed a number of severe allegations towards him.
He has beforehand denied the allegations, saying his relationships have been “all the time consensual”.
Allegations towards Model, 49, are:
In 1999 a lady was raped within the Bournemouth space.
In 2001 a lady was indecently assaulted within the Westminster space of London.
In 2004 a lady was orally raped and sexually assaulted within the Westminster space of London.
Between 2004 and 2005, a lady was sexually assaulted within the Westminster space of London.
Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy mentioned the ladies who made reviews towards Mr Model proceed to obtain help.
“[We] ask anybody who has been affected by this case, or anybody who has any info, to return ahead and communicate with police,” he mentioned.
