Suspended by chains and pulleys, the work explores the themes of regeneration and decomposition.
Cloth sculptures, often called ‘skins’, are hoisted onto steel chains, recalling the pulley methods utilized by coal miners. A big turbine, impressed by the constructing’s industrial previous, turns slowly, making a manufacturing unit environment.
The sound of operating water provides to the sensory expertise. The exhibition will run from 9 October 2024 to 16 March 2025.
